Living in Atlanta, Georgia has it's perks; and having Whitney and Bobby as local celebrities is one of them! On a weekly basis we hear stories about how Whitney was spotted cracked out at a bar in Buckhead or that Bobby was arrested again for a domestic dispute. Well, the big headline this week is that they are divorcing after 14 years of blissful wedlock. Where are our celebrity headlines going to come from now?

A few years ago, we used to hang out about once a week at Bailey's Bar and Grill on PIB in Dulth. They came in there all the time, and I have a few stories.
True story: My friend Dustin was a waiter there for a brief time and he waited on Whitney. One time she tried to pay for her food with a credit card, and Dustin asked to see her ID. She said, "I'm Whitney Houston." So Dustin said, "I know, ma'am. I'm Dustin Jenkins. May I see your ID?"
Everyone at the table got a good laugh at that one and Dustin kept the receipt just to prove he isn't lying when he tells that story.
I had that happen to me when I was a coctail waitress in Kansas City. I worked at a bar that some of the Chiefs football players frequented. To make a long story short, Tony Gonzalez (who is on my fantasy football team, mind you) did the exact same thing to me! I didn't have the wit of Dustin, though.
